By early 2015, Olive was most comfortable working with simple shapes like squares and rectangles, and she could no longer use the sewing machine. Although she could visualize the final quilt, she could barely pick up and place the pieces, or describe the layout to Judy. Slowly, and with much trial and error, she persevered.
