In 2009-2010, Oil Rig appeared in the International Quilt Study Center & Museum exhibition Perspectives: Art, Craft, Design & the Studio Quilt. It is one of six pieces in her Lowestoft series, which was inspired by industrial buildings and seascapes.

Michael James described her quilts as both ambitious and larger-than-life but with a keen understanding of the “subtle modulations in small areas on the textile’s surfaces as well as the broader abstract territory of the composition."
