Tuesday Talk

Tuesday, April 28, 2015 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Description: Assistant Curator of Exhibitions Jonathan Gregory presents "Rattling the Skeletons in the Closet: New Discoveries about the Reconciliation Quilt." The Reconciliation Quilt is the most famous quilt in the IQSCM collections and is one of the most extraordinary pieces of Americana in existence. The imaginative and playful folk designs and vignettes of New York City street life in Lucinda Ward Honstain’s quilt contrast suggest a life of happiness.
