Proposals due: March 1, 2008

Appointment: Four-week period between August 15, 2008 - July 30, 2009.

Preparing a Proposal for Consideration: A cover letter, scholar's vita, a proposal describing the research project and its expected outcomes, a list of possible guest lectures, workshop or seminar topics and a timetable are required.

Selection Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of overall feasibility; qualifications of scholar; creativity: likely impact, including the project's potential contribution to knowledge and practice.

Selection Process: The Nominating Committee of the International Quilt Study Center & Museum Fellows will review the proposals and make recommendations to the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will make the final selection. Applicants will be notified of the decision by May 15, 2008.
