International Quilt Study Center & Museum Web Link Guidelines (8/06)

As a service to our web site visitors, we offer links to other organizations on our web site. We link to educational institutions, non-profit quilting or textile organizations, or other organizations of non-commercial quilting interest.

If you are interested in having us list a link to your site, please review the guidelines below.

  • General Guidelines
    We provide links to the following types of web sites:

    Non-profit organization links:

    Non-profit guilds, clubs or other associations for quilt enthusiasts

    Information and networking services for quilt enthusiasts, such as topical or regional list serves.

    Museums and galleries with other textile specialties.

  • No Commercial Web Links

    With the exception of corporate sponsors, we do not link to commercial web sites (businesses that sell goods or services).

  • Submitting a Request

    If you think your web site meets the guidelines above and want us to add a link to your site:

    Send us an email with your request. Include the following information:
    • Your name
    • Your organization name
    • The address and a one-sentence description of your web site


As a courtesy, we request that you add a link to our web site from yours. Please use the following format:

International Quilt Study Center & Museum's mission is to collect, preserve, study, exhibit and promote discovery of quilts and quiltmaking traditions from many cultures, countries and time periods.

These guidelines are subject to change without notice. The Center may make exceptions to these guidelines on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at mose2@unl.edu.
