Lydia Neuman is Head of Exhibitions at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum. Her experience in the visual arts, interior design and arts education has been underpinned by a lifelong affection for textiles in general, and quilts in particular. Lydia received a master’s degree in textiles from the University of Texas at Austin, where her research focused on the ways in which geometry and culture inform one another. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bucknell University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design.
Originally from New York City, Lydia is delighted to be in Lincoln and working to produce exhibitions that inspire multi-disciplinary consideration of the significance of quilts and quiltmaking.
