Carly Kennedy

Carly Kennedy manages all fundraising programs at the International Quilt Study Center & Museum, including individual giving, corporate sponsorship, grants, and major gifts. While she began her career as a public school educator, teaching English and history, her professional path transitioned to program development and grant writing. However, she remains a history hobbiest and fan of the written word, and at IQSCM these worlds merge where she implements an annual plan and long-term strategy to fund the exhibition and preservation of America’s and the world’s historical, cultural, and artistic voice found in quilts and quiltmaking traditions.

Carly graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a bachelor’s in English and history and has completed graduate studies in technical communications and Native American History at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
